Patricia Lampens
Has a doctoral degree in Astronomy -
Astrophysics and works as a research astronomer at the Royal Observatory in
Brussels, Belgium.
She used to make lots of photographs
during holidays, but has now intensified her photographical activities and
loves to make images of nature, wildlife and landscapes (also urban
landscapes)
Paul Van Cauteren
Worked as a marketing manager for a
Belgian shipping line, but is now on leave in order to have more quality
time (!) for astronomy and photography.
Learned basics of photography as well as
darkroom techniques from his father. Has been photographing for 25 years and
obtained over 200 acceptances and awards in national and international photo-competitions, in
the category Monochrome (B&W), in the years 1987-1990. Switched from analog to digital a few years
ago and changed subject to nature, wildlife and landscapes.
